Attend the Nigeria Leadership Summit 2013

The Nigeria Leadership Summit is a platform designed promoted and managed by The Anabel Leadership Academy (“TALA”) to provide the Nigerian public with a broader view and understanding of the challenges of leadership in Nigeria. The initiative is designed to provide a platform for like-minded individuals in Nigeria to share experiences, programs and ideas for the way forward and a way out of Nigeria’s perennial leadership crisis from a corporate or political stand point. TALA believes that the only way out is for Nigerians who care enough about the future of the country to come together under one platform and provide support structures for those who need it, especially our current political and corporate leaders. The leadership crisis in Nigeria extends to all forms of life including the educational sector, the corporate sector and the political sector. In this regard the entire nation is in need of a well thought out and pragmatic approach to providing solutions.

It is with a deep sense of pride that we wish to invite you to the Nigeria Leadership Summit, 2013 and the Launch of the Empower Nigeria Initiative. It is a two-part event: The first part is the Nigeria Leadership Summit and the second part is the Empower Nigeria Launch.

Our message at the Anabel Leadership Academy is a strong advocacy for entrepreneurship as the solution to Nigeria’s unemployment crisis, so we will be providing the Nigerian youths with a CLEAR PATH TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP which includes business ideas, financing/funding assistance, support in marketing, business planning, accounting, legal support as well as with business premises, training and certification.  This entire process and support is captured by the EMPOWER NIGERIA initiative

We have assembled once again some of the Nation’s most respected speakers and deepest thinkers from different sectors of the economy to brainstorm on the way forward for our nascent democracy.

We have four special focus panels this year in addition to the keynote speeches. The first one is a special focus panel on Power; an industry in Transition, providing for the Nigerian People a deep insight into the recently privatized Power Generation. The second special focus panel is on Women in Business, and the strategic role of women in Job creation for Nigeria, some of the Nation’s most successful women in Business have signed up to participate in this panel.  A third panel will focus on Transformation, taking a deep look at the transformation of society as well as the transformation of the individual. A grand finale panel, which will be delivered on the third day, is the Entrepreneurship in Nigeria panel, some of the Nation’s most successful entrepreneurs will deliberate on how to grow the ranks of entrepreneurs in Nigeria, and this panel will review the challenges as well as the opportunities for Entrepreneurs in Nigeria going forward.

Photo of the Day: The tale of an entrepreneur

The travails of an entrepreneur

The travails of an entrepreneur

This is a portrayal of a typical entrepreneur in an part of the world. It is true that successful entrepreneurs are known for pursuing their strong visions and overcoming many obstacles on the way to achieving them. Many entrepreneurs face issues such as how to organise their succession planning in a suitable,
structured manner, while still allowing them to access their assets, thus enabling them to continue to pursue their entrepreneurial activities.

But a situation where government through its agencies are after you to pay various bills isn’t always an interesting thing to behold. In this picture, the entrepreneur is working while all those standing around him (labeled in the fashionable Nigerian tags) are waiting to collect their share.

All I can say is kudos to the successful entrepreneurs against the odds of these pests!

What’s your thought please?
